What we do in Birmingham
Blue Ink Trust delivers a weekly supplementary education programme in Birmingham, operating every Saturday and on selected weekday evenings. The programme is specifically designed to support students who may be at risk of academic underachievement, while also enabling all learners within our provision to realise their full potential. The initiative is centred on narrowing attainment gaps, strengthening core academic competencies, and fostering confidence within a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
The supplementary school provides structured instruction across the following areas:
- English and English grammar
- Mathematics
- Science
- Verbal and non-verbal reasoning
When and where
Sessions take place every Saturday from 10:00am to 2:00pm, alongside evening sessions offering extended learning opportunities. Additional programmes are delivered during school holidays, with enhanced timetables to provide continued academic engagement. These holiday provisions are intentionally designed to ensure that children and young people who may otherwise lack access to educational trips or enrichment activities can participate in a safe, structured, and intellectually stimulating environment.
